Aguaje (Mauritia flexuosa) is a traditional fruit from the palm forests of the Peruvian Amazon, especially in the region around Pucallpa. It has a gentle, creamy taste and has been part of local cuisine for generations.

Our fruit powder is made by carefully drying and milling the ripe pulp, preserving its natural color, aroma and characteristic flavor. It blends easily into smoothies, breakfast bowls, yogurts, desserts or plant-based drinks, adding a subtle Amazonian note.

Aguaje naturally contains phytoestrogens, which is one of the reasons it is traditionally appreciated by women in Peru and regarded as a fruit with a special cultural significance.

Harvesting and processing take place under the supervision of SERFOR, the Peruvian authority responsible for sustainable forest management. This ensures that the fruit is collected in accordance with environmental guidelines and with respect for local ecosystems.
