Cocoa Criollo
Cocoa Criollo - Theobroma - DRINK OF GODS
Cocoa Criollo, the sacred plant from Amazonia, got its name from Swiss biologist Carl von Liné. However, it is said that we should thank the Olmec population from south Mexico for actually getting to know cocoa criollo. They used cocoa criollo for their ceremonies. Also at that time cocoa beans were used as a medium of exchange.
It is true, that you can find this "native Indian cocoa" of high quality in tropical forests in a large part of South America. In Peru is known to be cultivated by Ashanics, but you can find it also by other native Indian tribes.
Why Cocoa Criollo? There are so many types of cocoa - Rorastero, Trinitario, etc. But the difference is that Cocoa Criollo has a very small production because on one bush there are just a few seedpods. And for this reason, these seedpods contain beans of the best quality, because the power of the Eart which is going through the plant is not decentralized. It is like a good wine, the fewer grapes on a plant the better quality of the wine.
How does cocoa help us? Modern speaking it includes antioxidants and it stimulates our organism. Maybe this is the reason why Peruvian children are so strong and active. Also, cocoa butter makes our skin more flexible.
You can't compare this cocoa with the normal cocoas from the shops, which are usually without cocoa butter, which has been replaced by palm oil. So Cocoa Criollo is not the Holand type or any other well-known type.
Cocoa Criollo, we offer, is bought from a small farmer and his family in Amazonia, and the bars are hand-made and they have the power of a Peruvian jaguar.
