Cocoa Criollo
Criollo cocoa is considered one of the original and more rare varieties of cocoa. It produces lower yields, but its beans are known for their delicate and distinctive flavor profile.
These cocoa beans are traditionally processed in a gentler way to preserve their natural taste and aroma.
We source cocoa mass from Señor Felipe, who grows cocoa on a small farm near Pucallpa in Peru. Another supplier offers a darker cocoa and cocoa powder with a different flavor profile.
Each type of cocoa differs in aroma and taste – it is up to you which one you will enjoy the most.
